Quantum-Systems GmbH, founded in Munich in 2015, specializes in the in-house development, design, and production of small Unmanned Aerial Vehicles. Our drones combine long reach and electrical efficiency with the ability to vertically take off and land (VTOL) without additional equipment. We continuously integrate high precision sensors into our systems for increased aerial data intelligence. This way we transform decision making processes for the professional user in the commercial and governmental sector.

For the extension of our team in Gilching near Munich we are searching for a Sales Manager Governmental Systems (m/w/d):


  • Buildung strategic alliances in the Governmental/Military sector for an ideal placing of our product Vector/Scorpion within key stakeholders
  • Strategic cold calling througout Mail campaings, Demo Days / Authority Showings, Presence at BOS/Military/Governmental fairs and networking with contractors and procurers
  • Support the marketing team with “view from customer perspective” in order to produce high-quality marketing material
  • Thourough screening of all tendering platforms (e.g. BUND) for relevant tenders
  • First contact point for all sales related questions from costumers within the field of profession
  • Active market and competition monitoring
  • Planning and conducting of all relevant sales-promoting measures e.g. flight demos
  • Sales forecasting and Opportunity /Pgo/ Pwin management, CRM
  • Generating the sales pipeline and achieving sales targets

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 5 years sales experience in the governmental sector (e.g. military, police, international organizations, NATO)
  • Proven negotiation skills with defense contractors and governmental procurement entities
  • Ability to master RFI and RFP responses and compose a competitive proposal
  • Ability to compose and lead a bid team
  • Hands-on in all phases of the sales process (we are a startup company)
  • Ambitious desire to win a deal and drive the sales pipeline
  • Ability to organize and lead customer events, hold presentations and represent the company on exhibitions
  • Fluent English, preferably also French and Spanish
  • Willingness to travel up to 75%
  • A plus: Existing network within the European and international defense procurement community
