We are very pleased that Quantum-Systems has been selected among the finalists in the category “Rethinking Flying” at this year’s German Aviation Innovation Award!
The “Rethinking Flying” prize is awarded to innovations that reinvent flying and is aimed at forward-thinkers, developers and engineers who want to take classical aviation into the future with their ideas.
This category is not limited to certain fields, but is rather open for innovations in all disciplines.
Both the classic Customer Journey segment with innovations that support the travel process of the passengers from the time they book their trip until they leave their destination airport, as well as
the trend area of autonomous and unmanned modes of propulsion and propulsion, which are the mobility of the future will change significantly, are only two of many possible topics.
The nomination of the winners and the award ceremony will take place on June 6, 2019 in Berlin.
About the IDL
The 4th Innovation Award of the German Aviation Industry (Innovationspreis der Deutschen Luftfahrt – IDL) honors the most innovative and best concepts in the German aviation industry in the categories “Rethinking Flying”, “Reducing emissions”, “Smart Factory” and “Cross Innovation”.
The IDL will be held under the Patronage of the Member of the Bundestag Thomas Jarzombek, Coordinator of the Federal Government for German Air Transport and space travel, by the German Aerospace Industries Association (Bundesverband der Deutschen Luft- und Raumfahrtindustrie e.V.). (BDLI), the Federal Association of the German Air Transport Industry (Bundesverband der Deutschen Luftverkehrswirtschaft e.V.) (BDL) and the digital association Bitkom e.V.
The prize is sponsored by the German Aerospace Center (Deutsches Luft- und Raumfahrtzentrum e.V.). (DLR) and the Zentrum für Angewandte Luftfahrtforschung GmbH (ZAL). Initiator and office is the P3 group GmbH.
The IDL builds a bridge between digitization and aviation industry and is the platform for the exchange of new developments and innovations from the areas of science, politics and companies at the same time.
From start-ups to SMEs up to established enterprises idea givers of different backgrounds take part in the Innovation Award.
